Coconut Oil Toothpaste

If you're as obsessed as we are about getting rid of chemicals from your everyday life, you'll definitely want to look at the label of your toothpaste. Most commercially available toothpastes have a number of chemicals in them that we like to avoid.

Coconut Oil has anti-bacterial properties that fight tooth decay and helps keep your breath fresh.

  • Virgin Coconut Oil - 3 Tbsp
  • Calcium Powder - 5 Tbsp
  • Baking Soda - 1 Tbsp (optional, used as an abrasive)
  • Xylitol Powder - 3 Tbsp
  • Distilled Water - 2 Tbsp
  • Essential Oils (mint, clove, cinnamon) - 30 drops

Mix all the dry ingredients first followed by the wet ingredients except water. Mix them well till they form a paste. Add the water slowly to the mixture till you reach the desired consistency. Store in a jar or tube.
