How we started?


  • We started reading labels and realized most oils were
    • Not pure
    • Refined
    • Added other oils like palm or worse mineral
    • Too expensive
  • When we spoke to our parents, they told us about times when they’d go to the oil mill and get grains oiled fresh. This was not only fresh with no added chemicals but also tastier
  • Before “vegetable oils” most people used cold pressed oils like sunflower and groundnut for cooking
  • We tried to find farmers producing oils in this traditional manner and came across a few outside Bangalore.
  • These farmers weren’t doing too well, their market was dying and they were not sure how much longer they could sustain their work.
  • We decided to bottle these oils and market them. But we didn’t want to be a high end expensive brand.
  • So we tied up with different farmers with strict focus on quality, we found labs in Bangalore that would help us test our oils regularly.
  • Now our oils are produced by farmers without anything added to them, bottled by us in a clean and hygienic manner and sold to you directly in a no fuss manner to reduce cost and focus on quality.
