Cold Pressed Niger Seed Oil
Niger Seed Oil, is the oil extracted from niger seeds that are native to India and the Ethiopian highlands. The lesser know miracle oil is now slowly becoming popular for its properties that improves human health. The niger seed, botanically known as 'Guizotia Abyssinica', resembles the sunflower seed in shape but is smaller and darker. Due to its high content of protein oils and soluble sugars, the seed is exported worldwide as bird feed.
Extraction of this nutrient rich oil is relatively easy using a traditional Indian Ghani. Niger Seed oil is pack with beneficial fatty acids and linoleic acid. It’s composition is similar to that of the sunflower seed oil, hence can be replaced as substitute if you like its nutty flavour.
